Building the knowledge base for developing future treatments
The University of Arizona Genetics Core for Clinical Services (UAGC-CS) was established to support clinical genomic testing, clinical trials, and clinical research activities, as well as the inpatient and outpatient diagnosis needs of physicians, oncologists and researchers.
UAGC-CS is a CLIA and CAP certified reference lab for high complexity laboratory developed testing (LDTs) involving Next Generation DNA sequencing (NGS). Our bioinformaticians provide both custom and standardized pipelines for NGS processing and analysis, and all results are accompanied by concise and expert interpretation. The UAGC has built the complete infrastructure and staff needed to meet all clinical and research standards (HIPPA, GLP, CLIA, CAP) for the processing, tracking, and analysis of clinical patient data with rapid turnaround times. Our bioinformatics pipelines are tailored to the needs of each clinical area/disease and are designed to aid in the discovery and/or identification of causative mutations.
